Yes, clear braces are possible and you have a couple of different options in our Indianapolis dentist office:
- Invisalign - clear aligners, which are full, non-metal orthodontic appliances that most people think of with "clear braces
- Ceramic braces - like traditional metal braces, but made of ceramic instead, which is more like normal teeth and so seems "clear"

CLEAR ALIGNERS
WHILE MOST PEOPLE THINK OF "INVISALIGN" WHEN THEY THINK OF CLEAR BRACES, THERE ARE OTHER BRANDS SUCH AS "CLEAR CORRECT" THAT MAY BE ANOTHER OPTION DR. REESE RECOMMENDS. THEY ARE A SIMILAR TYPE OF TECHNOLOGY, BUT WORK THE SAME WAY. BOTH ARE CONSIDERED "CLEAR ALIGNERS" OR "CLEAR BRACES".
CERAMIC BRACES
Ceramic braces are just like normal metal braces except that the brackets are made of ceramics instead of metal. This makes them slightly less obvious and makes the wire the only metal in the mouth. But the wire is so small that unless you're really close, even the wire is not that noticeable.
